What does the PTA do?

The PTA helps fulfill the school’s needs that might otherwise be unattainable for MRE to pay alone. With the support of parents, families, and the community, MRE PTA has been able to provide endless support to MRE. Most recently the MRE PTA has contributed to outdoor gardens, shade structures for multiple playgrounds, supported the needs of teachers and students in the classroom, and funded activities such as field day, grade level celebrations and various student/staff recognition opportunities. While these projects are on a larger scale, PTA also supports the day to day needs of our school through volunteering, special family nights, birthday recognition and other various needs as they arise.

 
How it's done...

Teachers, families and local businesses work together to accomplish these goals by:

• Eating out on Spirit Nights (Restaurant nights)
• Purchasing Spirit Wear
• Being part of our Flag Program
• Donating online
• Sponsorship opportunities
• + many more ways throughout the school year!
